Kevin Wilson of the Nashville Predators organization reports on his Twitter account that Patric Hornqvist will be out for 3-4 weeks with a sprained knee. This injury occured Saturday night against the Anaheim Ducks. Ryan Getzlaf got tangled up with Hornqvist in the corner and landed awkwardly on the Predators forward's knee. The injury looked bad as the referee and David Legwand had to help him to the bench.
It will be up to players like Colin Wilson, Sergei Kostitsyn and Craig Smith to help fill the void in the Nashville lineup. Smith and Kostitsyn have played nothing short of mediocre so far this season, so this will be a chance for them to show Head Coach Barry Trotz their ability.
